We have no pre-determined agenda. Unlike traditional conferences with rigid schedules and pre-arranged sessions, MeasureCamp is ‘an unconference‘ and completely open-ended.
The agenda is created at the event itself by the participants, who propose and facilitate discussions on topics that interest them. The perfect opportunity to connect and share battle stories about the challenges we all face.
We don’t invite speakers; we hand you the keys to the kingdom – your own stage. All you have to do is a claim an open spot on our session board throughout the day. If you already have an idea for a session, you can download a sessions card template here, and come in front of the line. Or even better: you can create your card with the Session Card Builder (ideal for both sharing on social + printing it before hand).
In the templates are spaces for tags, providing more information about your session. This helps other attendees to assess if they are the right audience for your session. The tag options are:
So please, prior to MeasureCamp, feel free to download & print off a copy yourself so you can write your session in advance. In large clear writing – remember that it needs to be readable from the back of a crowd. If your handwriting is terrible, get a friend to write the card for you. Use a marker, not a pen!
Once you are done, feel free to take a photo & share on social media. Ask for feedback in advance, did you get the tags right? Bring with you so you can stick on the session board as soon as it opens.
We really want to support everyone to lead a session. It can be terrifying pre session but it is an incredible thrill to get through it and recognise your achievement. To help out:
